In work and daily life where people are constantly bombarded with information—much of which is forgotten—how do you make your message more memorable? Tell a story! Join SMPS Michigan and Moth Story Slam host and winner David Crabb for an interactive workshop in which you’ll learn to harness something you know better than anyone else—your stories.

David Crabb is a performer, writer, teacher and storyteller based in Los Angeles who designs and teaches corporate storytelling to organizations such as Twitter, Google, Facebook, Fidelity, Uber and Bravo among others. Using techniques such as story mining (finding your life’s true stories), deconstructing structures (discovering the five beats that make your story good) and identifying stakes (the elements, however big or small, that make your story matter), David helps individuals "find" and "tell" their stories in order to better engage with clients—or anyone for that matter.

David is a Moth Story Slam host and winner and is
currently the lead instructor in The Moth's High
School Slam program.  He has taught storytelling
with The Moth, Occidental College, Indiana
University, Kevin Allison's The Story Studio,
Washington DC's Story League and New York
University's Tisch School of the Arts.
