    MODERATOR: Matt Farrell – CEO/Founder, Core Partners
    Matthew Farrell is the originator and co-founder of CORE Partners and currently serves as the CEO for the company. In addition, to his operational executive duties Matt also account manages many of the multi-year clients of the firm. 



    Irene Spanos, Director, Economic Development & Community Affairs, Oakland County
    Irene Spanos was appointed director of the Department of Economic Development & Community Affairs by Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson in 2011. As director, she oversees all aspects of Economic Development and Community Affairs for Oakland County including the County's role in planning, business attraction and expansion, community development, marketing & communications, workforce/ talent development, and a variety of other initiatives.



    Steve Black, Transaction Manager, RACER Trust
    Steven Black is Transaction Manager for the RACER Trust. In this role, he helps coordinate the sale and redevelopment of property left behind in the General Motors bankruptcy. At its inception, RACER was the nation’s largest environmental trust and the third largest portfolio of industrial property located in 14 states. 



    Bob Waun, President /CEO, C3 Ventures
    Mr. Waun has 27 years of experience in real estate finance and development. He has lead The Indian Hill Company’s efforts to revitalize downtown Pontiac and served for 8 years on The City of Birmingham’s Principal Shopping District Board. As a consultant to Lehman’s Bankruptcy estate, Hypo Bank, iStar Financial and other lenders, Bob helped work out over $1 Billion in distressed real estate debt during the 2008-2012 financial crisis.
