Matthew Farrell is the originator and co-founder of CORE Partners and currently serves as the CEO for the company. In addition, to his operational executive duties Matt also account manages many of the multi-year clients of the firm. 



Irene Spanos, Director, Economic Development & Community Affairs, Oakland County
Irene Spanos was appointed director of the Department of Economic Development & Community Affairs by Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson in 2011. As director, she oversees all aspects of Economic Development and Community Affairs for Oakland County including the County's role in planning, business attraction and expansion, community development, marketing & communications, workforce/talent development, and a variety of other initiatives.



Steve Black, Transaction Manager, RACER Trust
Steven Black is Transaction Manager for the RACER Trust. In this role, he helps coordinate the sale and redevelopment of property left behind in the General Motors bankruptcy. At its inception, RACER was the nation’s largest environmental trust and the third largest portfolio of industrial property located in 14 states. 



Bob Waun, President/CEO, C3 Ventures
Bob Waun has 27 years of experience in real estate finance and development. He has lead The Indian Hill Company’s efforts to revitalize downtown Pontiac and served for 8 years on The City of Birmingham’s Principal Shopping District Board. As a consultant to Lehman’s Bankruptcy estate, Hypo Bank, iStar Financial and other lenders, Bob helped work out over $1 Billion in distressed real estate debt during the 2008-2012 financial crisis.


Kyle Westberg, President/CEO, West Construction, Pontiac
Developer of the Flagstar Strand Theatre
Kyle’s leadership and business acumen have resulted in the successful development and construction of projects totaling over $90M during his career. His success can be attributed to an ability to identify and assemble teams of highly motivated and experienced professionals.  Kyle creates and shares clear business strategies with his team, enabling everyone to contribute to successful project outcomes. 

 


Tim Shepard, Owner, The Riker Building, Downtown Pontiac
Known as a professional adrenaline junkie, in 1991, Tim started and ran a surf shops for 18 years when he started buying and rehabbing old buildings and houses  in 1999. Tim purchased the Riker building in early 2016 and has been dedicated to the restoration of this 10 story landmark and downtown Pontiac. He serves on the newly formed pontiac Mainstreet Board of Directors as well as the board of the young entrapreneurs squad and previously served on Keego Harbor’s planning board.
